ARGENT ASSOCIATES CEO APPOINTED BY GOVERNOR CORZINE TO SERVE ON NJ TAX AND FISCAL POLICY STUDY COMMISSION

TRENTON, NJ Ð Beatriz (Betty) M. Manetta, USHAA Board Member, Chair of the Hispanic Business Council of CIANJ, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Argent Associates, Edison, N.J., was appointed by Governor Corzine to serve on the New Jersey Tax and Fiscal Policy Study Commission. The committee reports to the Secretary of State and is responsible for reviewing State and Local Tax structures and related fiscal issues with regards to the laws relating to the imposition, assessment and collection of taxes. The term of service commences July 1, 2008, and continues until June 30, 2012.

"The Governor has been working to change the way NJ does business.
