The New York Department of Sanitation (NYDOS) awarded its third contract to Argent Associates, Inc.

New York, N.Y. - The New York Department of Sanitation (NYDOS) awarded its third contract to Argent Associates, Inc., for the repair and refurbishment of telephone sets for NYDOS's field garages. The project consists of repairing and refurbishing Toshiba and NEC telephones. This is the third award to Argent in their newly launched business in the repair arena.

New York's Mayor Bloomberg launched a green agenda for the city. NYDOS has taken his plan to another level. That is the recycling of products in their quest to not only be "green" relative to the environment, but also to save "green." In other words, the launch into capital avoidance via recycling and refurbishing telephone sets. In addition to contributing to the protection of our environment, the NYDOS is also focusing on providing more business opportunity to women and minority owned companies.
